Integral to Catholicism in America and particularly in Quincy is the proud tradition of Catholic education.

The history of Quincy Notre dame High School (QND) begins with the School Sisters of Notre Dame who came to Quincy in 1857 and who by 1894, had established a four year high school. For more than a century, "Notre Dame" has been synonymous with a high standard of quality education in an atmosphere of religious and moral principles. The students at the school have excelled in academics, sports, extra curriculums and other community activities. They are among the highest achievers in the standard achievement test. Better than eight-five per cent of the students go on to college (compared to only 40% of public school). Large numbers of alumni currently hold professional and top management positions in the Quincy area, proving QND is making the community grow and prosper now and in the future.

Each year, thousands of Alumni, current parents, former parents, and friends of Quincy Notre Dame donate money, services, stocks, real estate, and other items to the school to insure a viable and healthy educational program for our students.

The QND Annual Fund Campaign kicks off in January each year.

HOW YOU CAN MAKE A CONTRIBUTION

GIFTS OF CASH:
The majority of gifts to the Quincy Notre dame Foundation are in the form of cash. An unrestricted gift for the greatest needs of the school is of particular benefit, but gifts may be designated for specific purposes.

MEMORIAL GIFTS:
Gifts to remember or honor a relative or friend is a wonderful way to assist the Foundations efforts.

Acknowledgment will be made to the family of the deceased.

SECURITIES:
Common stock or other securities are appropriate gifts to be transferred to the Quincy Notre Dame Foundation.

REAL PROPERTY:
The Quincy Notre Dame Foundation will receive gifts of real estate, including land, personal residences and commercial properties.

CORPORATE MATCHING FUNDS:
By the method a company and its employers would share in enriching the programs of the Foundation.

COMMEMORATIVE GIFT PLANS:
Quincy Notre Dame's Endowment Fund offers donors many opportunities to contribute sacrificially in a spirit of selfless charity for the good of Catholic education in the Quincy area.

A BEQUEST:
A memorial gift can be outlined in your will or added as a codicil. This allows you to perpetuate your personal dedication and remember the good works of the Foundation. You can leave:

• a percentage of your estate;
• the residue of your estate;
• identified property;
• a specific dollar amount.
