GAME IMPROVING
SHAFTS AND GRIPS

When you look at the tight ball dispersion patterns produces by PING steel shafts, you'll understand why we say their consistency is unsurpassed. We have the same requirements for graphite, so we've developed rigorous specifications for them as well. PING shafts are available in steel and graphite models, each designed to match the performance characteristics of our irons and woods. And since a good swing begins with a proper grip, we have 15 different sizes and types you can request. To further customize the fit, they can be built up under either hand.

GRAPHITE SHAFTS - 350 SERIES
Ultralight graphite shafts by Aldila designed specifically by Karsten engineers for PING irons, metal woods and woods. Recommended for golfers preferring a lightweight shaft.

STEEL SHAFTS - JZ SERIES
Steel shafts by True Temper designed specifically by Karsten engineers for PING irons and fairway woods. These shafts offer the golfer consistent performance and include (irons only) the CUSHIN Selective Filtering Insert to reduce the unwanted vibrations associated with steel shafts.

FLEX - A
Designed for players who consistently carry their 5-iron shots 140 yards or less. Our most flexible option, it promotes a higher trajectory and performs most effectively for golfers with slow swing speeds.

FLEX-REGULAR(R)
Recommended for golfers who carry their 5-iron shots 140-160 yards- Most effective for strong women players and men with below average swing speeds. Ideal shaft for players preferring a higher trajectory.

FLEX - STIFF (S)
Standard shaft for all PING irons. Designed for players who carry their 5-iron shots 160-175 yards. Recommended flex for players of average length

FLEX-X-STIFF(X)
Stiffest shaft available- For golfers who carry their 5-iron shots 175+ yards. Recommended for stronger players and golfers who desire a lower trajectory. The above descriptions are recommendations only. To best fit a golfer for a shaft, we suggest the player test the various shafts to determine the ideal one for their game.
CUSHIN SELECTIVE FILTERING INSERT CUSHIN screens out the frequencies that can potentially affect human muscle, bone and connective tissue. CUSHIN dissipates the unwanted frequencies. The golfer receives less bad vibration and more feel every time he or she hits a shot. Which means golfers can still play to their full potential toward the end of an active round. Standard in all ISI steel shafted irons.
